A wonderful and rare 1854 George Baxter colour oil-print of 'The Charge of the British Troops on the Road to Windlesham'.

The print depicts British Army manoeuvres on Chobham Common in April 1854 prior to the dispatch of a British Expeditionary Force - commanded by Lord Raglan - to the Crimea in the spring of 1854.

Importantly, the print has its G. Baxter patentee mark below the image.
