A circa 1910 hand painted Cambridge University armorial shield made by A.W. Crisp & Co of 16 King's Parade, Cambridge.

Whilst the shield has damage commensurate with its age, no attempt has been made to restore the item. Significantly, it also possesses its original A.W. Crisp & Co label.

N.B. early Oxbridge university/college armorial shields are getting harder to source.
