A lovely late 18th Century Georgian silver toddy ladle with twisted whale bone handle and elaborate decoration to the bowl.

The ladle has the initials 'WH' on the underside of its neck, but no hallmarks. However, a closer inspection of the bowl itself reveals that it was fashioned out of a Georgian silver coin.

The item is in very good condition but has a slight defect where the neck meets the bowl.
